The collection has boundaries.

The Fine Gun Library is for responsibly documented firearms, related artifacts, material history, collecting culture, and original research.

• Do not publish unlawful material or use the Library to arrange an unlawful sale or transfer.
• Do not post political advocacy, threats, harassment, or instructions intended to facilitate harm.
• Do not post auctions, bids, financial offers, checkout, payment requests, or transactional messages.
• Represent ownership, condition, provenance, and legal status honestly. Clearly distinguish fact, recollection, and opinion.
• Upload only photographs and documents you have the right to share, and remove sensitive personal information before publication.
• Protect personal information. Publish a serial number, precise location, phone number, or email address only when you deliberately want it visible.

Members can report entries and comments, hide another member’s comments, and remove comments from their own entries. The Fine Gun Library may limit or remove content that falls outside these standards.
